TIME

Your first visit will last 1-1.5 hours, and subsequent visits will last 45-60 minutes, so please allow sufficient time. If you have time constraint for a particular appointment, please inform me upon your arrival, and I will accommodate your needs.

CHILDREN

Homebirth is a family affair, and it is vital that partners and other children feel comfortable with the process and us. You are welcome to have occasional visits alone, of course, but we encourage partners and children to come to as many visits as possible. While I support children’s free spirits, this is a professional office servicing a wide range of clientele where both healing and relaxation occur. Please try to keep inside voices as much as possible and take cell phone calls outside if you must answer.

TIME

In most cases, you will have received your registration paperwork via email to complete and bring with you to the first visit. Please email vickii@wildharmonywellness.com if you have not received the packet in advance of our appointment.  Your first visit may last 1.5 – 2 hours, and subsequent visits may last 30-90 minutes, so please allow sufficient time. If you have time constraint for a particular appointment, please inform me upon your arrival, and I will accommodate your needs as much as possible.

WHAT TO BRING

If possible, bring all medications and supplements with you to your visit for review as well as any pertinent medical records and laboratory results. Please wear loose-fitting clothing as much as is possible that especially allows access to your arms, lower legs, abdomen and back. Gowns are available, or you may bring your own, but it is usually not necessary to disrobe for every visit. If you have favorite music to relax by, you are welcome to bring your own music source to play during treatments.

PAYMENT & INSURANCE

Full payment is required at time services are rendered. As I remain committed to maintaining reasonable fees for all, I cannot accept insurance, which would significantly increase my workload and reimbursement time. I am happy to provide a completed superbill for you to submit to your insurance company; please request one at the beginning of your visit. Services are reimbursable by HSAs and FSAs.

CHILDREN

I love children and families and fully support attachment parenting; however, this is a professional office servicing a wide range of clientele where both healing and relaxation occur, so unless they are being treated, please leave children with a loving caregiver. Nurslings depending on breastmilk may accompany you, but please have someone to care for the baby in the waiting room while we are working on your health. Treatments and massages may be ongoing in other rooms, so please keep voices low as much as possible and take cell phone calls outside if you must answer.

RETURNING CLIENTS

If you are a returning client, please always bring your herb container back with you so that I can assess how much you have left so that you are less likely to purchase more than you need. Acupuncture can significantly move qi as well as relax you during a treatment. It is imperative that you eat within two hours before your appointment, or you may react with dizziness or fatigue after a treatment. Bring a water bottle with you to hydrate immediately afterwards.
